My dog doesn’t think.
He just does.
As far as we know, the entire sensory experience of a dog is one of instinct and reaction. There are no thoughts in the human sense. No worries about morality, being good or bad, or worrying about missing out.
He gets up and executes: 10 laps around the yard, barking at the rabbits and birds, doing his business in 5-6 predetermined locations for maximal scent spread, say hi to a few neighbors then it’s back inside for breakfast and a four hour nap.
Thinking is important, but when it’s time to work like a dog, remember to turn the mind off while you execute.
